Douglas spikers sweep Sparks

The Douglas volleyball team had no problem in dispatching of Sparks in three straight games, 15-3, 15-9, 15-11.

Brittany Addeo had 24 assists, three aces, two kills and three digs for Douglas. Jennifer McCroskey also had a strong all-around match with seven digs, four aces, three kills and one block. McCroskey also served for 10 straight points in the first game.

In addition for Douglas, Emily Haas had seven digs, five blocks and four kills, Andrea Christian had two digs, two aces and four kills, Nicole Weber had two digs and two kills and Nati Ordas added two blocks and three kills.

Douglas improved its Northern 4A Sierra League record to 8-2.
