At a recent Board of Directors meeting of the Boys & Girls Club of Western Nevada, members of the High Sierra Radio Control Club presented Executive Director Cathy Blankenship a donation of $250. The gift represented club income from the Chili Fly-In.
The Boys & Girls Club was selected for the donation to encourage interest in science, particularly aeronautics. The model aviation club offered to participate with the Boys & Girls Club through lectures and demonstrations in its craft. This year's donation will be the first of annual gifts.
