Learn to fly fish From NDOW experts

The Nevada Division of Wildlife (NDOW) will be conducting a three-day introduction to fly fishing on Friday-Sunday.


That clinic will be held on Friday at the NDOW headquarters building at 1100 Valley Road in Reno. The Saturday and Sunday locations will be announced at the Friday session.


The three-day training session is designed for entry anglers and is free for all participants. It is limited to the first 20 persons who sign up on a first-come, first-served basis.


There is a minimum age of 10 to attend and a parent or guardian must accompany all children.


On Friday, the hours are 6-8 p.m.


On Saturday the hours are 8 a.m. to noon.


On Sunday the hours are 8 a.m. to noon.


Participants are requested to provide their own tackle.


Note: A Nevada fishing license is required for those 12 years of age or older.


Pre-registration is required.
