I was impressed by Tom Tatro's large advertisement in Wednesday's Appeal. With all of the empty space, I was disappointed not to see his lists of people who have been added to the city staff (firemen, deputy sheriffs, parks and recreation) since 1996 when he was on the Board of Supervisors.
The public would like to know how many of these he would have voted against and how many union contracts which provide for annual pay raises he would have canceled to maintain the 1996 tax rate. How about it?
