Letter: Friends, neighbors come to the rescue

I want to thank all my friends and neighbors for saving my house before the firemen came. My house would have surely burned down had all of you not come and stopped it.

I am so proud to be a part of a community that is there when something so devastating happens. This is the second time you have come to my aid. The first time was in 1989 when the Voltaire Canyon fire came over the mountain. Words cannot say how I feel in my heart.
