As local and national broadcasts focus on moving forward with our president-elect and attempting to put rancor behind us, the Nevada Appeal chose to quote Donald Cullers' disturbing comment about Mr. Gore. The comment says more about Mr. Cullers than it does about Mr. Gore. It is inflammatory and does not respect our legal and political process that allows for a candidate to question questionable results. America does not admire quitters, and Mr. Gore did no more than Mr. Bush would have had the situation been reversed.
The comment's placement by the headline is curious and in extremely poor taste.
