Score one for exasperated readers: New research conducted on page 2 of a local newspaper in Carson City reveals that copyreaders use only half their brain when reviewing graphics meant to depict the brain activity of men versus women.

Graphics depicting left temporal lobe activity of females was excluded in favor of showing, twice, the identical graphic of men's left temporary lobe activity when listening to whatever. According to Dr. I.P. Freely of the Winnie Lane Newspaper Critics Assn., "This doesn't mean that copyreaders can't walk, talk and chew bubble game at the same time, it just suggests that they sometimes don't pay attention to what they are doing."
