This is in regards to Zyler, the bull mastiff that was run down and killed. Doesn't Carson City have a leash law?
While I can't help but feel sorry for Carlotta Angel on the loss of the family pet, and agree with her that a person who would do this on purpose needs help, I also feel that she needs to take part of the responsibility for the animal being killed. If she had really cared about the well being of Zyler and the "wonderful life" she gave him, she should have also given him a fenced yard to stay in, and made sure he could not get out and roam the streets.
Any pet owner who lets their pet roam the streets should not be surprised when they turn up dead from being hit by automobiles.
