The national news media is oftentimes accused of having a liberal bias against conservatives. This Tuesday morning a news report by our taxpayer funded National Public Radio brought the reality of such accusations to light.
In a story detailing the previous day's campaign activites of both George Bush and Al Gore, the NPR treatment couldn't be more revealing. For every single point made by George Bush the NPR reporter was quick to point out the counterargument made by the Gore campaign. Naturally, when the story turned to the Gore positions I was less than surprised to hear no such replies from the Bush or Republican side.
The bias was all too apparent. It seems that such actions apply new meaning to the phrase "Your tax dollars at work!"
