The posted sign says "NO WEAPONS ALLOWED IN LIBRARY." Well this means no baseball bats, rocks or other items that can be used as weapons, but that's another story.
I just wanted to thank Barney Dehl for making it so much safer for me to go to the library. For now because of him, and the other library board members, the only armed persons in the library will be criminals. I am now protected from off duty and retired police officers and law abiding citizens who might have undergone an extensive background check and firearms course who might legally be carrying a firearm. Most importantly, it sure feels good, doesn't it?
