Luney resigning as Judicial College dean

RENO - Percy R. Luney Jr. has announced his retirement as dean of the National Judicial College.

Luney, who has held the position for two years, cited ''personal and professional'' reasons for his resignation effective in October. He said he plans to return to the academic community.

The college plans a national search for a replacement.

The National Judicial College located on the University of Nevada, Reno campus was established in 1963 and serves as a training center for judges in all 50 states and 150 foreign countries.
