Murray was July Nugget employee of month

Irene Murray, who started as a Denny's waitress in Willows, Calif., at age 17, was named employee of the month for July at the Carson Nugget.

Murray, who now works in the Nugget's bar department, joined the Nugget in1995. Her husband, Larry, was recently promoted to graveyard shift manager.

The Murrays have two children - Robert, 14, and Linda, 12.
