Arline D. Johnson, 82, a Carson City resident for the past six years, died Aug. 7, 2000 at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born Sept. 14, 1917, in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., to Alson D. and Jessie Witham Burhans.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Sacramento, Calif.
Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and she was a Lutheran.
She was preceded in death by brother, Alson Burhans and sister Barbara Burhans.
Among her survivors are her husband Milan of Carson City; daughter Kathleen Ely of San Jose, Calif. and Deborah White of Carson City; sister Janice Branman of Sun City, Calif.; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
