Obituary: Betty L. Milner

Funeral services are 10 a.m. Monday at Chapel of Reno Memorial, 253 E. Arroyo, Reno, for Betty L. Milner, 73, an 8-year resident of Carson City.

Born April 5, 1927 in Ashland, Ore., to Otto and Fay DeFord Tresham, she was an auditor, who worked at British Petroleum until she retired. She lived in Medford, Ore. before moving to Carson City.

Mrs. Milner was a past president and member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Anchorage, Alaska.

She is survived by her husband, Harold W. of Carson City; son William Wright of Florida; daughter Carol Kingslien of Casa Grande, Ariz.; two brothers, Raymond Tresham of Sacramento and Roger Tresham of Tacoma, Wash.; two grand children and three great-grandchildren.

Burial will be 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley. Reno Memorial Funeral Services of Reno is in charge of arrangements.
