Florence E. Ellsworth, 97, a Carson City resident for the past 30 years, died Dec. 10, 2000, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born Aug. 10, 1903, in Idaho to Jesse and Grace Brooke Whitworth.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Oroville, Calif.
Mrs. Ellsworth worked as a practical nurse for the Winnemucca Hospital. She was a Catholic.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Ellsworth, who died in 1978.
Among her survivors are her daughter and son-in-law Barbara and Stan Peters of Carson City; daughter Patricia Little of Gridley, Calif., five grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
