A memorial service for Keith W. Phillips, 44, a Carson City resident for the past four years, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mr. Phillips died July 29, 2000, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born Nov. 13, 1955, in Charleston, S.D., to Carl B. and Ruth Ellen Harrington Phillips.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Las Vegas.
Mr. Phillips was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of NSSA, a board member of the Carson City Gun Club and he enjoyed fishing.
He served in the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Among his survivors are his wife Katy and son Sean C., both of Carson City; father Carl B. of Bethel Island, Calif., and brother, Douglas of San Antonio, Texas.
Cremation will be at Walton's Carson Sierra Crematory.

Capitol City Cremation and Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
