Patrick Shannon Leahy, 33, died July 25, 2000 at his Carson City home.
He was born April 9, 1967, in Carson City to Don and Lorraine Leahy and graduated from Carson High School in 1985 after serving as vice president of his senior class.
Mr. Leahy participated in track and field events in high school and continued to be a sports enthusiast, enjoying basketball, golf, motor sports, baseball, softball, fishing and extreme sports. He was a systems analyst in the computer industry.
Mr. Leahy was preceded in death by sister Erin K. Leahy in 1998.
Survivors include his parents and brother Michael Leahy, all of Carson City; nephew Conner Leahy, and niece Kylar Leahy.
A memorial mass will be Friday at 5 p.m. at St. Teresa Catholic Church. Cremation will be by Walton's Sierra Crematory and arrangements by Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
