A funeral for Vera Elizabeth Ferini, 99, a Gardnerville resident for the past three years, has been postponed due to a sudden family illness until 10 a.m. Friday at St. Gall Catholic Church.
Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Gall.
Mrs. Ferini died Dec. 14, 2000 at her home. She was born Feb. 25, 1901, in Jamestown, Calif. to Vincent and Carolyn Giosopho Balestra.
Before moving to Gardnerville, she lived in Los Gatos.
Mrs. Ferini was a homemaker. She worked several years at Navlets Florist in Los Gatos. She enjoyed making flower arrangements and spending time with her family.
She was a past member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Los Gatos and a past member of the PTA in Los Gatos.
She was preceded in death by her son Robert in 1979.
Among her survivors are her daughter and son-in-law Bettie and Jim Hill of Minden; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Los Gatos Memorial Park.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley, crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
