Robbers hit Reno convenience store

RENO - Police are looking for three men who robbed a Reno 7-Eleven late Saturday night.

After brandishing a small handgun at the clerk, the men got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. The store is located at 1680 Silverado Blvd.

The men are described as Polynesian. One was approximately 30 years old, 6 feet tall and 200 pounds. The other two were in their mid-20s, 180 pounds and approximately 5 feet, 10 inches.

The suspects fled on foot toward Paradise Park.

A $1,000 reward is being offered by Secret Witness for information leading to the suspects' arrests. Anyone with information is urged to call detectives at 334-2188 or secret witness at 322-4900.

In an unrelated robbery at 1:02 a.m. Monday, a Hispanic man got away with a case of beer after holding the clerk of a 7-Eleven store at gunpoint at 3085 South Virginia Street.
