Soroptimist International of Carson Valley invites the public to its weekly meeting today at noon at Two Guys From Italy.
The meeting will be devoted to hosting the Douglas County Board of Education Trustees. They are composed of elected officials tasked with acting in the best interests of our educational community.
President Don Forrester, Vice President Dave Brady, Clerk Cheri Johnson, George Echan, Michelle Lewis, Randy Wallstrum and John Raker will be joined by candidates for the Douglas County School Board: Randy Green, Veronica Hulsey, Jim Keagan, William Laughlin, Charles Pullen and Keith Roman who will discuss issues relevant to their campaigns.
The meeting is scheduled to start at noon. Lunch is optional at $7.50.
