Justin Thran, wood artist, has been helping the Food Bank of Northern Nevada for six years by donating the income from his art work. His creations make wonderful Christmas gifts and at the same time help those less fortunate in the community. His work includes a full line of hummingbird feeders, fancy birdhouses, yard art and lots of ironwood carvings.
Scolari's is featuring Justin's work at many of its stores including stores in Carson City, Gardnerville, Yerington, and Fernley. All proceeds will be donated/presented to the Food Bank between 5:30 and 6 p.m. Dec. 15.
