The Nevada State Athletic Commission received two requests for June dates for Pay-Per-View fight cards from promoters Don King and Bob Arum.
Arum, president of Top Rank Inc., has requested the date of June 10 for a welterweight title fight between Oscar De La Hoya and Shane Mosley, to take place at the Mandalay Bay Resort.
Don King Productions has requested the date of June 17 for a heavyweight fight featuring former champ Evander Holyfield against challenger John Ruiz at Caesars Palace.
The commission meets on Friday in Las Vegas and approval of those dates is just a formality, as both dates should be approved by the commission.
