Brief: Earl speaks on highway

On Jan. 11, 2000, Phillip I. Earl, former curator of history at the Nevada Historical Society, will speak on "The Lincoln Highway in Nevada: America's First Transcontinental Highway."

The speech will be at the National Judicial College on the University of Nevada, Reno campus at 7 p.m. There is no charge. For details, Call Nita Phillips at the Nevada Historical Society at 688-1190, ext. 225.
