The Western Nevada CattleWomen will hold its annual dinner-dance and auction at the CVIC Hall in downtown Minden March 25.

The evening begins at 6 with a no-host bar, followed by dinner and auction at 6:30 p.m. Music will be provided by Knight Hawk.

For the first time the group will award a plaque of recognition to the "Best Beef Business" for its outstanding support for the beef industry in the local area.

The proceeds from this event and other association fund-raising events go toward scholarships for high school students hoping to pursue degrees in agricultural fields.
