The Emblem Club recently heard Mark Jacoby of the Boys & Girls Club of Western Nevada speak at its drug awareness meeting. He informed them of the club's ongoing program with drug awareness, other social issues and the history and functions of the Boys & Girls Club.
The Emblem Club recently presented its annual nursing scholarship to Western Nevada Community College, to be received by a second-year nursing student who is in need of financial aid and has shown diligence and perseverance in academics.
