The following crimes were reported Friday to the Carson City Sheriff's Department:


-A deputy stopped a vehicle at Highway 50 East and Graves Lane at 2:09 a.m. because it appeared to contain juveniles out past curfew. One occupant, a 19-year-old Carson City man, gave a name that he later admitted was false, according to the arrest report, and was arrested for investigation of interfering with a peace officer. He was held on $300 bail.


-Michael Bruce Roberts, 24, of Carson City was arrested in the 4100 block of East Nye Lane at 6:31 a.m. for investigation of possession of a hypodermic device and resisting arrest and on a felony probation violation. He was held without bail.


-A woman in the 1900 block of Marian Avenue reported at 6:48 a.m. that her bedroom had been broken into the previous night and $3,000 worth of jewelry had been stolen. She said the theft had happened during a juvenile party at the home the night before and that the knife used to open the door had been left on her bed. Report taken.


-Steven Leroy Powell, a prisoner at Northern Nevada Correctional Center, was arrested 8 a.m. at NNCC on a warranty for felony possession of a dangerous weapon by a prisoner and booked into the jail without bail.


-Tracy Ellen Greisen, 35, of Carson City was arrested in the 200 block of North Pratt Street at 8:50 a.m. on a felony probation violation.


-Crystal Jean Gerard, 21, of Carson City was arrested in the 3600 block of Village Drive at 1:30 p.m. on a felony probation violation.


-Mitchell Roy Kaylor, 40, a transient, was arrested at Carson and Telegraph streets at 2:10 p.m. on a felony failure to appear warrant from Washoe County and was held on $10,000 bail.


-Franklin Albert Viegas, 33, of Carson City was arrested by a sheriff's detective in the 800 block of North Carson Street at 3 p.m. for investigation of felony possession of stolen property and felony embezzlement. He was held on $25,000 bail. According to the arrest report, the detective had been contacted Thursday by a business owner who reported several tools missing. The detective located several matching tools in a pawn shop that had been pawned by Viegas, the report said, and Viegas admitted removing property from his employer's business and pawning it.


-Lee Burton Nicholson, 31, of Carson City was arrested in the 800 block of North Carson Street at 9:05 p.m. for investigation of domestic violence and was held on $3,000 bail.
