The Carson City Democratic Central Committee invites the public to meet candidates and fellow Democrats at an old-fashioned picnic in Mills Park from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 4.
Some of the candidates will include Assemblywoman Bonnie Parnell, Nevada State Education Board candidate Michelle Trusty-Murphy and Douglas County Commission candidate Willie Edwards. U.S. Senate candidate Ed Bernstein will attend around 2 p.m. Voter registrars will be registering new voters and those needing to change their address.
