Did Black Rock poll show skewed results?

Regarding Geoff Dornan's article about the Black Rock Desert March 11.

If all but one of our elected officials are opposed to wilderness status for the Black Rock Desert, how does it happen that the wilderness people can do a poll that shows such a different view?

Maybe the Appeal should do a poll and try for unbiased reporting and unbiased poll taking. Tough but possible.
