The Douglas County Parks and Recreation Department is offering a song writing class for those 15 and older.
The instructor is Ted Dollarhide, who holds master's and doctorate degrees in music composition from the University of Michigan.
Classesrun from June 12 through July 17 from 7:30-9:30 p.m. at the Recreation Annex Building in Gardnerville.
Cost is $48 per person for six weeks. Pre-register at 1327 Waterloo Lane in Gardnerville. Call 782-9828.
