A funeral for Everett Eston Gillett, 73, a Carson City resident, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Capitol Baptist Church.
Mr. Gillett died June 5, 2000, at Sierra Convalescent Center. He was born March 2, 1927, in Crawford, Neb., to Rowland Hill and Harrett Dickerson Gillett.
Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. Friday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Among his survivors are his wife Gladys of Carson City; mother Harriet of St. Central, Neb.; son Wage of Carson City; brothers Robert of Lincoln, Neb., Terrance of Harrison, Neb., Lavern of Lincoln, Donald of Fremont, Neb. and Clarence of Jaya, Indonesia and sisters Vivian Foley of Gering, Neb., Willa Scott of Portland, Ore., Eleanor Davis of Belgrade Mont., Arline Lyons of Albion, Va. and Elisabeth Spencer of Ground Island, Neb.
Burial will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
