Fish record book available in April

According to a recent press release from the National Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame, the 2000 edition of their world record book will be available in April.


The Hall, a non-profit national museum, keeper and qualifier of fresh water fish records since 1970, is located in Hayward, Wisc.


The Hall recognizes over 125 species in their "kept" division and another 54 species in the "catch and release" division, as well as all state records.


Foreign records are also included.


A $22 membership entitles a member not only to the record book, but also an annual calendar, the quarterly magazine "Splash," a museum pass and a garment emblem.


The membership also includes no fee for processing world record applications. There is a $10 per record application fee for non-members.


Non-members may obtain the record book by sending $8 to cover the cost of mailing.
