Fishout to be held at Rosachi Ranch

The Carson Flyfishing Club will hold a "Fishout" on Saturday.

That fishout will be held on the Rosachi Ranch on the East Walker River.

To reach the ranch, take U.S. 395 south from Carson City for about 35 miles to Holbrook Junction, just north of Topaz Lake. At Holbrook Junction, take Nevada S.R. 208 east to Wellington. At Wellington, take Nevada S.R. 338 south toward Bridgeport, Calif. Just a few miles past the Sweetwater Summit highway sign, look for a dirt road on your left with a sign indicating the mileage (38 miles) to Hawthorne.

Take the dirt road to the parking area by the bridge.
