Gov. Kenny Guinn is looking for Nevada teenagers interested in serving on the governor's Youth Advisory Council.

The council was formed in 1996 to help the governor's office, state health division and other agencies help deal with problems such as teen pregnancy prevention, quality education and violence prevention.

Guinn said the council developed a middle school program called "Abstinence Works" among others.

He said anyone from 15 to 20 years old is invited to apply for a two year term on the council.

Those interested should contact the state Health Division at 684-4285.
