Historical society names curator

Jackie Clay, former director of the Sutter County Museum in Yuba City, Calif., is the new curator of history at the Nevada Historical Society in Reno.

Clay's responsibilities include developing new educational programs for the society, developing closer relationships with school districts and developing tours of the society's exhibitions.

The society is a division of the Nevada Department of Museums, Library and Arts at 1650 N. Virginia St., Reno.
