A Reno cab driver is in custody in Carson City for suspicion of kidnapping his kids and taking them to Hawaii, said Chief Sheriff's Deputy Bernie Curtis.
Richard Allen Roberts, 50, arrested in Reno on a Carson City warrant, is being held on $100,000 bail for charges of first degree kidnapping.
Curtis said Roberts is suspected of illegally checking his kids out of protective custody and absconding with them. He was arrested upon his return to the mainland.
