Kids' fishing derby at Sawmill Pond

The eighth annual kids fishing derby will be held on Saturday at Sawmill Pond at South Lake Tahoe, Calif.

Any youngsters up to the age of 14 are eligible to enter the derby.

There is no registration fee.

No lures are allowed and there is a limit of five fish per youth.

Raley's at South Lake Tahoe is the primary sponsor for this event.

It is estimated that a total of some 1,500 people will attend during the course of the day.
