Why not let Douglas County, or any other county for that matter, have Costco? Carson City needs Fuji Park. As anyone who has lived in Carson City for any time knows, parking is always a problem. The city should not give up any land to please Costco. We look like a bunch of idiots begging them to come to Carson City and help create more traffic jams while we are trying to get a bypass to solve the downtown traffic jam.
Fuji Park is the only park in Carson City with an arena that will accommodate events for our young people with horses who want to show and compete. It takes a lot of parking room for cars with horse trailers. Please don't be short-sighted and take away future parking for Fuji Park.
