I am an African American in the Carson City area, and I wholeheartedly salute the city for hosting activities at the Children's Museum and other activities honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
This tells me this community is really and truly poised to enter the new millennium with insights and reflections for one of the great Americans of our time.
Carson City, you scored BIG on this one. Keep up the good work. And yes, America, the lights are shining bright in our town.
