Obituary: Brad Lauderbaugh

A memorial gathering for Brad Eugene Lauderbaugh, 34, a Carson City resident for the past 25 years, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Empire School.

Mr. Lauderbaugh died Feb. 26, 2000, at Washoe Medical Center. He was born May 15, 1965, in Modesto, Calif., to Clarence C. and Myra Benton Lauderbaugh.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Modesto.

Mr. Lauderbaugh was a painter and a Special Olympics coach.

He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Brent.

Among his survivors are his grandfather, Amos McGee, of Ceres, Calif.; mother, Myra; ex-wife, Jennifer; brothers, Barron and Barrak; sister-in-law, Stacy and nephew, Brent, all of Carson City.

Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery, is in charge of arrangements.
