Obituary: Donald McWilliams

Donald I. McWilliams, 88, a Spanaway, Wash., resident for the past two years, died Dec. 9, 1999, at Allenmore Medical Center in Tacoma, Wash. He was born July 31, 1911, in Lewistown, Mont.

Before moving to Spanaway, he was a longtime resident of Carson City, coming from Billings, Mont.

Mr. McWilliams was a rate clerk working in trucking transportation.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European Theater and the took part in the Battle of the Bulge.

Among his survivors are his brother, Verne, of Spanaway; sister, Iris Abbott, of Roundup, Mont., and nephews and nieces.

Private inurnment will be at Walton's Carson Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.

Edline-Yahn Funeral Chapel of Kent, Wash., is in charge of arrangements.
