A memorial service for Helen Theron Williams-Foote, 91, a Minden resident for the past seven years, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Ocean Beach, Calif.
Mrs. Williams-Foote died March 31, 2000, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born May 29, 1908, in Grand Junction, Colo., to Stuart and Maude Gorham Stevens.
Before moving to Minden, she lived in San Diego, Calif. for 80 years; 52 of those years in Mission Beach.
Mrs. Williams-Foote was an elementary school teacher. She was a long-time member of the American Association of University Women and she enjoyed reading.
Among her survivors are her daughter, Celia Johnson of Minden; grandson, Stan Odum and three great-grandchildren.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, 1201 Terminal Way, Reno 89502.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
