Darrell Rasner pitched six innings and Ryan Church came on in relief to slam the door shut for the University of Nevada in its 7-4 Big West Conference baseball victory against UC Santa Barbara on Sunday afternoon.

Rasner allowed four runs, all in the fifth inning when Nevada fell behind 4-1, on seven hits as the freshman right-hander from Carson City raised his season record to 9-1. Rasner struck out seven and walked two to help Nevada rebound from its 22-17 loss to the Gauchos on Saturday at Santa Barbara's Caesar Uyesaka Stadium.

Three of Rasner's wins have come after Wolf Pack losses. His earned run average is now 3.21 in 67.1 innings.

Church pitched three innings of hitless relief to earn his second save this season.

Joe Inglett hit 3-for-4 with two runs scored and one RBI. The senior outfielder, who broke the Big West career runs scored record on Saturday, finished the weekend series hitting 8-for-13.

The Wolf Pack (20-12, 4-5) is at home this weekend to host Cal Poly in a three-game Big West series, starting with a 2 p.m. contest on Friday at Peccole Park.
