Sheriff's deputies are still investigating a recreational vehicle theft and as many as 21 other RV burglaries Friday night.

Thieves reportedly stole the RV and items like microwaves and televisions from other vehicles while they were sitting in the parking lot of Michael Hohl Automotive RV Center on South Carson Street.

Harold Sellers, whose 33-foot Winnebago was stolen, said it was worth close to $30,000. Luckily, he says, he had insurance.

Investigative teams pored over what little evidence was left at the scene, said Chief Sheriff's Deputy Bernie Curtis.

"We gathered some evidence, but not a lot," he said. "We're still looking for that RV that was stolen."

Investigators have not yet determined the exact value of the items taken from other RVs.
