Saturday is the opening day of the rifle Rocky Mountain bull elk hunting season in a number of big game management areas in the State of Nevada.
Management Area Nos. 061, 071, 077 and 081 in the Elko area and Nos. 111-115, 131, 221, 222 and 262 in the Ely area will all open on that date.
All of those seasons will close on Nov. 28.
