The northbound lane of Roop Street between Winnie Lane and Northridge Drive will be closed until Tuesday.
A Southwest Gas pipeline reinforcement project forced workers to close the road to give them room to work.
The southbound lane is open with controls. Northbound traffic is being detoured onto Winnie Lane.
