I live out of state and was passing through Nevada. I read your paper from a neighbor after he finishes it. I really enjoy your paper a lot and have always enjoyed reading Bob Thomas' editorials. That's the main reason I read your paper plus the other Nevada news.

While here, I bought the papers I would miss back home.

I'm writing in regard to Bob's comments about the restaurant in Dayton overpainting the sign. I think they should be able to do what they want with their own property. It's theirs, bought and paid for. The past doesn't last forever.

That's what's wrong with so many small towns. Everyone wants to control you. They want to help you but they're nosy. I used to live in a small town in Arizona. I bought a place and remodeled an old house. I wanted to live there, but everyone kept trying to tell everyone what to do, especially the people from California and Las Vegas. All I can say is get a life, and if you live in a small town, it's not Mayberry. We moved here to get away from everyone. We'll do what we want. We'll be your neighbors, but please respect our privacy.

Also, about the people writing in and attacking Mr. Thomas about Social Security, he deserves it. He earned it.

Mr. Thomas, keep on writing for the paper. We need your input. Keep standing up for what and whom you believe in. Always glad to see your articles in the paper.
