CASA of Carson City will soon begin a training session, a spokesman said.
CASA volunteers are appointed by the juvenile court in Carson City as advocates for children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. Volunteers will receive training and are asked to serve for at least two years, taking one or two cases during that time.
