UNR offers course in maximizing slot operations

"Maximizing Your Slot Operations" will be offered by the University of Nevada, Reno, in Las Vegas this June.

In this course, participants will discover how to analyze the profitability and performance of your machines and ascertain how their performance relates directly to your bottom line. Through demonstration and practice, participants will learn how to calculate probabilities, values and percentages of hold to drop.

This foundation is necessary for participants to master the analytical skills necessary to effectively scan and comprehend the extensive data provided in your revenue reports and assist you in identifying valuable information necessary for increasing profitability.

The course will focus on slot math and analysis; criteria for evaluation of a slot floor; machine productivity based on location; mix and pricing; techniques and tools for accurate and precise slot report evolution;hands-on floor design workshop; expansion issues and marketing the slot floor.

The course is excellent for marketing and slot operations personnel.

The course will be held Wednesday and Thursday June 28-29 from 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the Orleans Hotel and Casino, 4500 W. Tropicana Ave., Las Vegas. The course fee is $475 and includes instruction, course materials and refreshment breaks.
