A Bonanza, Ore., woman has been arrested in a South Carson City motel room after an anonymous caller reported she was wanted for murder in Klamath Falls, Ore.

According to reports, Oregon investigators believe Madeline Gidgit Whitley, 27, is connected to the Saturday murder of a man with whom she had a relationship. An anonymous call Monday evening to the Lyon County Sheriff's Department led Carson City deputies to the Best Value Motel where she was staying.

An Oregon detective told the arresting deputy that "Ms. Whitley called her father and told him where to find the victim." During an alleged call to her mother, she said, "You don't have to worry about Paul (the victim) any more, He's been taken care of."

The investigator said the victim's body was found in the woods about 1/4 mile from his residence. A .22-caliber handgun was also allegedly missing from the victim's house.

Whitley will likely be taken back to Oregon to face murder charges.
