A memorial service for Linda JoAnn Duncan, 40, a Silver Springs resident, will be at 5 p.m. today at the Christian Center in Silver Springs.
Mrs. Duncan died Nov. 20, 2002 at home. She was born Sept. 26, 1962, to Ron and Sandra Eaton in Eugene, Ore.
She was a professional pet groomer in the western Nevada area for many years. She once owned All Breed Clipper Den in Carson City with her late husband, Thomas Bowers.
Among her survivors are her husband, John Edward Duncan of Silver Springs; daughter, Melissa JoAnn Bowers of Reno; father and stepmother, Tom and Maria Eaton of Florence, Ore.; mother, Sandra Eaton and sister, Linn, both of Alvadore, Ore.; mother-in-law, Suzanne Richards of Veneta, Ore.; former mother and father-in-law Patricia and Edward Bowers; stepson, John Michael Duncan; and best friend, Brandi Forcier.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lyon County Animal Shelter.
